Telecom New Zealand’s new retail stores chose to install flooring produced by Irvine International Floors for their latest award-winning shop fitout at Botany Downs.  High quality vinyl flooring in an authentic timber-look effect was laid in large “quarter turned” directional panels over the 140 square metres of retail floor area.

The Telecom Botany store employed the design services of Gascoigne Associates, and this successful collaboration has just been awarded “Divisional Winner” for the Appliances, Electronics, Telecommunications & Digital section at the latest RED Awards, the premier retail design awards of the New Zealand Retail Interior Association (NZRIA).

The original concept design was developed in association with Saatchi Design Worldwide and Designworks (Brand Application), focusing on uncluttered retail layouts and real-time interactive displays.

The vinyl plank flooring product used in this store is one of our standard stock lines but for this project it was custom made to suit the exact grid layout that the designer Mark Gascoigne and his client required.
